Vaughn Mcguiness

Managing Director/Founder

Is our leader of the Property Team and has over 30 years’ of expertise in property strategy and delivery. As the leader of BDC’s Property Team, he regularly instructs our clients, Adidas, TK MAXX, RFG and Sigma Pharmacies across Australia, New Zealand and the USA.

Previously held senior positions with Westfield, Jones Lang Wootton and Baillieu Knight Frank and as a past General Manager of Leasing at Stocklands.

Vaughn is well practiced in the day-to-day realities of Commercial Real Estate.

Jon Sully

CEO/Founding Partner

As a former co-owner of the wildly successful retail food chain, Michel’s Patisserie, Jon has unique retail experience from all sides of the industry.

With responsibility for Michel’s Victorian Operations and National Store Development, he expanded the group franchise network to over 350 stores.

This experience has made Jon keenly aware of the nitty-gritty issues and pitfalls that impact retailers, every time they open their doors as he’s ‘been there, done that’.

Over the last 30 years as an owner of multiple brands, Jon has continued to build vast knowledge across all aspects of retail, franchising and commercial property.

Keith Doyle

COO – BDC

Keith is an experienced Retail Director with over 20 years managing across a broad spectrum of Retail categories growing Sales and EBIT. He combines a strong   strategic management skill with  an  entrepreneurial trait  in owing and managing retail businesses. He has held key senior roles since moving to Australia in 2012 working with large sales teams and working  with  Big Box , Department Store and Specialty retailers.

Keith  is comfortable in operating at all levels with an ability to develop key relationships with employees and key senior stakeholders. Keith believes the Hands on approach and strong work ethics are key to every businesses success along with common sense,  loyalty and trust.

Devrim Todd

General Manager of Systems and finance

Devrim’s primary role is the implementation and overseeing of Hawkeye – BDC’s multifaceted technology that has been developed for the exclusive benefit of our retail clients. She is also responsible for the management of all aspects of BDC’s finance and accounting processes.

With a background in finance Devrim joined the BDC team in early 2015.

Rebecca Piggins

Has worked in the property industry for over 30 years. She has extensive experience in lease negotiation and asset management through working for some of Australia’s largest retail businesses including Vodafone, Flight Centre, Boost Juice and Diva.  Rebecca advises clients such as Adidas, M.A.C, Famous Footwear, TK MAXX and Aveda.

Jacqueline Mance is part of the BDC Property team with over 35 years experience within the retail sector.

A retail leasing specialist with extensive experience and networking in Australia and internationally building rapport with key stakeholders to manage large property portfolios with a result driven focus.

Jacqueline was National Property Manager for Nando’s Australia and now works in Australia and International markets within the F&B industry.  Holding senior leasing positions within General Retail, Pharmaceutical and F&B industries Jacqui now consults to a varied client base.

She personally now advises both clients, franchisees across Australia and Internationally.

Cameron Wallace Strategy and Implementation

Cameron Wallace

After over 15 years with leading property companies including Centro Properties, GPT Group, Novion and Stockland, which have included a number of senior roles, Cameron has now changed his focus to assist retailers in all aspect of leasing. Cameron advises clients such as RFG and The Salmon Club.

Lee Rubino

Has over 35 years experience in the retail industry, across high profile companies such as PepsiCo (Pizza Hut), Sebel Furniture, Gloria Jeans Coffees and Luxottica (OPSM, Sunglass Hut).

Lee has acquired vast in-depth knowledge, across all aspects of retail including franchising, operations and commercial property, enabling her to demonstrate a commitment to deliver high quality outcomes and competitive commercial terms, whether it be a lease negotiation, surrender or abatement.

Rod Anderson Strategy and Implementation

Rod Anderson

Is a very experienced and skilled retail property specialist with over 25 years in the industry across Australia, New Zealand, Canada and the United States. He is both strategic and transactional, having held senior leasing and general management roles that required hands on deal making ability as well as the big picture mentality required of a national or international group. Rod is well regarded in the industry and has worked in roles restructuring store portfolios, growing retail brands with appropriate site selection and negotiating lease renewals on competitive commercial terms. His experience has been gained across retail fashion, cinema, entertainment and childcare.

Anthony Halikiotis

Has over 15 years experience, with vast knowledge in property management, retail & commercial leasing, retail sales and project development with major companies including Colliers International, Stocklands and Queensland Investment Corporation.

An expert in his field, Anthony demonstrates high level negotiation with all relevant stakeholders, proven adaptability to various business scope of any size and high level competency in financial management.

A licensed Real Estate Agent, Michelle has negotiated and transacted residential, commercial sales and leasing with over 12 years spent within the property sector. A firm negotiator backed with a bachelor’s degree in Business and an unrivalled dedication to BDC’s property partners.

Michelle is an integral part of the Strategy and Implementation Team working on all facets including site selection, negotiation of commercial terms, strategic market mapping and analytics in sourcing the most viable positioning for your business and future growth.

Stefania Montesano

Head of project management

Stefania heads up the Projects Team assisting the Strategy and Implementation Teams with all administration support.  Stefania’s role consists of dealing with clients, landlords and one on one daily contact with her Strategy and Implementation Team in ensuring BDC offer the best service to all clients.

Stefania has over 30 years Personal and Executive Assistant experience and joined BDC in 2018.

Nadine Coleman Projects and Support

Nadine Coleman

Nadine’s role is to implement individualised strategies and thorough project oversight.  From dealing with minutia of daily business including liaising with colleagues, to following through on landlord actions, letter of offers, preparing sign offs, paperwork, etc – Nadine is your ultimate ‘I’ll get it done’ administrator.

With a background in the Retail and Finance and IT Recruitment space she joined the BDC team in early 2014.

Executive assistant

Cara is executive assistant to Vaughn McGuinness, Director of BDC. Her role comprises of Vaughn’s email and diary management, meeting and documentation preparation along with general day to day adminstrative support.

Cara is also responsible for all BDC event planning and has 20 plus years experience in both administration and Human Resources.

Katrina is in the Projects Team.  She is the conduit between the Strategy & Implementation team and Hawkeye Administrator.

With a background in Marketing and Sales, she joined the BDC team in late 2019.
